About 180 counties in the United States don’t have a Catholic church — so thousands of Americans don’t have access to the sacraments. Glenmary Home Missioners is dedicated to changing that. They needed to let young men know about this one-of-a-kind calling that combines devotion to the Eucharist, service to the poor and rugged determination to blaze new paths to those who are often forgotten. So they contacted us.
We drafted the script, sketched out about 20 scenes, and followed 8 priests and seminarians to 5 mission sites over two weekends; capturing the diversity and breadth of this unique calling. The result was six action-packed videos in three languages/accents that could be used for targeted campaigns.
