You should live in Rawai, on the island of Phuket in Thailand. This place is the best for living due to its atmosphere, affordability, relaxed, authentic vibe, amazing food and friendliness of the people around. You can really live here for cheap, rent something by the beach, and make friends with Thai locals, as well as many digital nomads who live in the area. It is perfect for both, young people and those who look to retire in Southeast Asia. Rawai has its peacefulness unlike other areas in Phuket, but it also has many lively restaurants, busy areas, Muay Thai classes, incredible opportunities, as well as the insane Rawai Seafood Market with some very weird and scary looking Thai seafood which is also delicious at the same time.
Later I go to Patong in Phuket, another very famous area in Thailand, known for its nightlife, and to the Malin Plaza Market, to try out Durian for the first time. Find out why I believe Rawai is not only one of the best places to live in Thailand, but also the best place to live in the world!
