happy partial lunar eclipse night! ^_^ š«¶š«°
i stayed up so i could snag a few photos, and im really glad i did. i ended up going on quite the lovely walk too. it was really cool out (and i brought a flashlight and waterbottle while dressing lightly) so i sat down on the curb and drew up the art here of my handsewn HeaRT plush i took with me to experience the eclipse alongside. HeaRT is a very lunar-centric character, and really carries my love for the moon. heās shown up on the channel quite a few times for sure! my plush of him isnāt finished so i drew how i planned to finish him here in partial transparencyā¦a decision becoming an accidental metaphor for the partial eclipse itself. lmao
the clip of me dramatically videoing an artpage at the end of this vid is one that didnāt make it into my ALONE video (i think), so i wanted to give that little snip a new life. the art in that clip was actually themed to the exact lyric its displayed with: āif i could give you the moon, i would give you the moon.ā
the song in this video is Moon Song by Phoebe Bridgers, the very song that got me into her in the first place. i can pinpoint the exact youtube video that introduced me to her music, and iām planning to make something inspired by that personal origin point next. ofc, with HeaRT, again š
this video was originally just gonna be a gif of four images, but it turned into much more and im happy with it!! i made a tumblr post for it before i had the idea to make it a video. heres that link!
