everything is a game that is very special to me. i found it through the same person who got me into rainworld @3t0rmvi (ššmwa mwa) through a random gaming session or somewhat at their house at an unknown date. probably around 2019 though, i found everything after i found rainworld. meta yap rq, that wording āi found everything after i found rainworldā is neat to me because its true in context of everything being a game, but its also true with rainworld being the foundation of my entire identity as a person. so. huhu.
the first clip is very special to me. it was my first game recording ever on steam. i had to cut a bit of it out because i was sitting in the menu a bunch, thats why after the cut the music kicked in (im p sure i turned on the music in settings too? maybe). the event happening here was something iād never seen before. im p sure it was a new years celebration but it was around 4-5pm when i found it randomly, so maybe its a set timezone thing and im not in the timezone where its properly 12am. i hold the feeling the experience intilled in me forever remembered. and i wanted to share it, so i hope it illicits something in you too!
the second clip was from a playsession i did today while on a call in a coolass server but nobody was currently in it with me. the mic quality is different from my past vids bc i got a webcam recently and i wanted to test out its mic bc my headset mic is horrible lmao. and i ended up finding the same world the new years event happened in ?? i donāt really know hoe everything as a game with mechanics works but this was really magical. the residue of the whimsy was everywhere.
as for the thumbnail, i love the composition a lot :] the emojis being visually clear and much more detailed than everything else felt weird to me, so i duplicated their layer, and blurred the top one for this cool effect i think compliments the sperm whaleās glow very well.
