Seagulls Gather | Ice Station Zebra by Alistair Maclean Book Review @SeagullsGather | Uploaded February 2024 | Updated October 2024, 8 hours ago.
My review of the 1963 cold war thriller Ice Station Zebra from Alistair MacLean. A brand new nuclear submarine, the USS Dolphin, races north to save the survivors of a fire at a north pole weather station.
Dr Carpenter seems more than he seems, what does he really want at the North Pole?

MacLean, a former Royal Navy man, was a prolific thriller writer from the 1960s to his death in 1987. Ice Station Zebra was made into a movie in 1968.
