After a few weeks near Seoul, South Korea, I was able to finally book a tour of the DMZ (no JSA unfortunately this time) back in November 2022. The DMZ was shut down for one or two weeks when I was there as N.K. shot warning missiles near South Korea's border out in the sea.
Afterwards, they opened it back and resumed the tour...which felt odd, especially as NK just threatened South Korea...
Regardless, this was my experience of visiting all of the sites on our tour and I hope you find it useful and enlightening.
I was not bored for one second as I was just absorbing it all in.
Make this a stop on your itinerary if you are ever in Seoul.
