Harbour Air Seaplanes is perhaps one of the most well-known seaplane operators in Canada, and flies a fleet of over 40 airplanes out of Vancouver, British Columbia.
They're an airline I'd been meaning to fly on for a long time, and I finally got the chance to do just that in August last year on one of their Turbine Otters, flying from Vancouver to Victoria!

Over the past couple of months, Calgary has been fortunate enough to have Finnairs Airbus A350s here, operating flights for Eurowings Discover.
As the summer season winds down though, their final flight for the season took place last Saturday.
Eurowings Discover will apparently be returning next year, but I doubt well ever see those Finnair A350s again. Glad we had them while we did!

Yesterday, this Gulfstream G700 flight test aircraft from Gulfstream Aerospace flew into Calgary.
The G700 is Gulfstreams largest private jet to date, and is a stretched version of the successful G650. The G700 is still awaiting certification, and this particular one was in Iqaluit for some cold weather testing.
Strangely, it left Iqaluit and flew over to Fairbanks, but didnt actually descend, and diverted to Calgary instead.
It ended up staying the night here and then left just before sunrise. No idea why it came to Calgary of all places, but Im very glad to have seen this fantastic looking jet! Enjoy the video!
