I've looked at stabilising FPV racing footage before using Sony Stabilise in HMS12 (cheap Vegas), which crops the video but I prefer the slightly smoother look so feel thats a price worth paying, so planned to switch from mobius A to wide angle C lens or possibly runcam (for 60fps) so the cropping isn't so much of an issue.
I saw some amazing video from Microsoft Hyperlapse research a while back, and just realised they released this as PC software back in May - free trial watermarks video, but you can pay $49.99 to remove this. I downloaded this tonight to try it out on some FPV racing footage.
It does a pretty good job with the racing video, this was a race from the other week using mobius A lens, I am sure with the wider angle C lens AND camera tilted up more on quad (which I've been meaning to do for ages), this would work really well for smooth FPV race onboard video!
The hyperlapse processing runs really fast, hardly slower than real time - much faster than other stabilisation I've tried (which takes 3-10 times realtime to process), and results look pretty good to me, cropping is less severe than other stabilisation I've tried.
