Thanks to Tom and Greg who braved the weather forecasts for gale force winds and rain (MET office had 4 severe weather warnings) to come out this morning so I wasn't flying round on my own.
It was windy but we were very sheltered behind tree line, and it was spitting with rain on and off so occasional drips on lens made for some interesting vision, the course was a bit tight as we tried to keep it inside the sheltered area which made it tricky, but still good practice.
My final tally was 11 flights, 7 races, 26 laps completed, 7 crashes, and I broke 4 props and one was badly bent but i just bent it back and carried on flying ;)
Music seemed appropriate as it did feel like a showdown with the weather, (and not the good, the bad and the ugly!), a couple of good first laps, some crashes and a solo timed run doing two laps just under a minute.
