Setup for DX8 to enter the advanced menu on Blade 180 CFX Heli AR6335 Rx/FBL unit. NOTE You will need to update firmware using SPMA3065 USB adaptor and Spektrum updater software for any changes to be saved, as the out of the box firmware has a bug so cannot save any changes.
Hold both sticks to bottom outer corners to get into servo centering mode.
There is also a gain adjustment menu if you hold both sticks in bottom right corners - use telemetry screen to show P/I/D/Response values - defaults are 100, aileron steps through them, elevator alters value, rudder will reset to default 100, Blade advice is not to adjust PID gains but Response can be altered to taste in small steps ie 5 at a time then test.
Also showing how to easily check zero pitch and check/set pitch ranges without a pitch gauge just using a ruler.
6cm for 11deg is worked out using trigonometry, so if you want more/less pitch you can work this out using Trig calculator link below, the blades are 150mm long, so side B is 150mm, angle A is whatever pitch you want, then just double side A to give distance in mm between blade tips for that amount of pitch.
11deg/6cm is a good starting point if your not sure how much pitch you want, you can always increase/decrease later as you wish.
