Star Wars: Squadrons is a perfectly competent dogfighter on its own, that thanks to VR on my Oculus Quest via Link, has had me playing the campaign for weeks where most take hours. In this video I discuss how, despite its uneven nature, Squadrons' VR component has shown me some important things about how virtual reality might fit into people's gaming lives in the future—how it might not be an everyday thing for most, but that might make the experiences found on the platform vastly more meaningful.
