Using my Harvey T60S wood lathe and Easy Wood Tools carbide woodturning tools, I shape the wood into a sleek, stylish base, perfectly complementing the soft-yet-durable ShadowFoam insert. For a flawless finish, I apply Yorkshire Grit abrasive paste and Hampshire Sheen finishing wax—bringing out the wood’s natural beauty.
This beginner-friendly woodturning project is not just fun, but also a great way to start a profitable side hustle by selling handcrafted pin cushions or other unique ShadowFoam-based products.
