This simple and popular stitch creates a grid pattern with raised vertical lines, and horizontal bands of stockinette stitch and reverse stockinette stitch. Ideal for projects like scarves and blankets, waffle stitch has a relatively 3D, squishy texture :)
In this video I run through how to knit waffle stitch flat, but I also provide the pattern for circular knitting if you would like to knit it 'in the round' instead.
