Rokolee DIY | How to Knit: Rick Rack Rib Stitch | Fun Zigzag Knitting Pattern | Simple 2-Stitch C2B & C2F Cables @RokoleeDIY | Uploaded August 2024 | Updated October 2024, 13 hours ago.
This tutorial will demonstrate how to knit Rickrack Ribbing, which has a zig-zag appearance and is pleasingly squishy!
It's the alternating C2B and C2F 2-stitch cables - otherwise known as 1/1 RC and 1/1 LC cables - that create the effect, and in this video I'll show you how to knit these without having to use a cable needle. I think this pattern is a good introduction to cabling.
At the end I'll also cover how to knit this in-the-round, and how to bind off to create a neat edge.
I hope you find this useful!
*Chunky yarn, 6mm needles*
