In this DROPS video we show you how to increase 1 stitch between 2 stitches. The increases can be worked individually or you can work several increases above each other to form a line; great for raglan for example.

BEFORE STARTING THE VIDEO:
The increases are on each side of 2 stitches. Work to where you are going to increase.

THE VIDEO SHOWS:
RIGHT SIDE:
After the last worked stitch, make 1 yarn over (= 1 new stitch), work 2 garter stitches, make 1 yarn over (= 1 new stitch).
WRONG SIDE:
Knit the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes.
If you are going to increase several times above each other (i.e., every 2nd row), make
sure the increases remain on each side of the same 2 stitches.
