In this DROPS video, we show you how to increase 1 stitch between 2 stitches, leaving a small hole. These increases can be used individually or above each other, creating a line of holes; great for raglan for example.


BEFORE STARTING THE VIDEO:
You increase on each side of 2 stitches. Work garter stitch to where you will increase.


THE VIDEO SHOWS:
RIGHT SIDE:
After the last stitch, make 1 yarn over (= 1 new stitch), work 2 garter stitches, make 1 yarn over (= 1 new stitch).
WRONG SIDE:
From the wrong side, knit the yarn overs, leaving a small hole by each yarn over. If you are increasing more than once above each other (i.e., on every 2nd row), remember to make sure the increases are on each side of the same 2 stitches.
