Here’s a handful of ways I like to use to overcome the “I need to think about it” objection:
A personal fave, is simply asking, “That’s great. What exactly are you going to think about?”
Don’t make it a big deal. Just get straight to it.
Another tactic I like is saying, “That’s great. Since I have you here, before you go take the time, what are the one or two things you’ll be thinking about?”
This often leads to them revealing the real objection, like price or value.
Finally, complimenting them on their decision to think it over can work wonders. “That’s great. All our best customers said the same thing.”
Compliments make them feel closer to a decision. These have worked for me, you're welcome to use them if it's helpful.
