If your iphone is not charging, or if it is charging and then stopping, and charging again, first look at the cable. If it’s bent or torn, maybe that’s why it’s acting like that. Try a different cable and see if the problem is fixed. If not, then try a different power brick and even a different outlet. Try your cable, brick and outlet with a different phone, to rule out a faulty part. If everything seems alright, then look into the charging port. Maybe you have dust or lint in there. You can clean in carefully!!!!! With a tooth pick, toothbrush or specialized tools.
But if yor port is clean and your cable is fine, maybe it’s a software glitch. What you can do is to restart your phone. If it hasn’t been fixed, you can try a hard reset. press the volume up button, volume down and then hold down the power button until the phone turns off completely. Even if it seems that it doesn’t work, just have patience. I will leave the entire process unedited so that you can see how much it takes until it turns off completely.
If that didn’t work, see if there is an update available for your phone.
Or another fix is to turn off low power mode on your iphone. Go to Settings, Battery and toggle the Low Power Mode switch to the off position.
