I'm a hoarder...let's just get that out there. But, what behind my hoarding tendencies is the ability to see the potential in things. The problem lies in that I don't have enough time to implement all my creative upcycling and reuse ideas. So, it does my heart good to take my hoard to a materials reuse organization like Lifecycle Building Center (LBC).
I still get to recognize the upcycle potential of materials, while letting someone else use them for their ideas. That makes me happy. Instead of sending waste construction materials to the landfill, take them to the Lifecycle Building Center.
Keep in mind reuse is better than recycling, because no additional energy is needed to give a material a second life...except perhaps a little elbow grease.
