Part of what makes Abe Kruger's bungalow renovation project "green" is his choice to donate some of building materials removed during demolition. The donated materials, cabinets, sinks, doors and other items are going to the Lifecycle Building Center, an Atlanta non-profit that diverts usable building materials from the landfill and sells them to the public at a deep discount. Check out their website to donate or visit their warehouse to purchase.
