As Tom Mills explains, it’s a great example of living green in Georgia. Pallookaville Fine Foods in Avondale Estates, Georgia is the fruition of a lifelong stream of ideas from the brain of chef and owner Jim Stacy. Jim's vision was made possible, in part, by the many vintage and rehab materials he sourced from multiple vendors, including the Lifecyle Building Center. Jim calculates that he saved around $100,000 by giving old and leftover materials a second life...and doing much of the work himself. He credits this savings with making the Pallookaville venture possible. So, stop by for an artisan corn dog and support his green initiative.
