Connecting a Bluetooth speaker to your Samsung Galaxy phone is simple and can be done in a few easy steps using the phone's Bluetooth settings.
Step 1 — Turn on Your Bluetooth Speaker
Ensure your Bluetooth speaker is powered on and in pairing mode. Most speakers enter pairing mode automatically when turned on for the first time, or you may need to press a Bluetooth button until a light starts flashing, indicating it’s discoverable.
Step 2 — Enable Bluetooth on Your Galaxy Phone
Open the Settings app on your Samsung Galaxy phone.
Tap Connections (or directly Bluetooth depending on your model).
Switch Bluetooth to the On position. The phone will start scanning for nearby devices automatically.
Step 3 — Pair the Devices
In the Available Devices list, find the name of your Bluetooth speaker.
Tap the speaker’s name to initiate pairing.
If prompted, confirm a passkey or PIN, which is usually 0000 or 1234, depending on the speaker. Most modern devices pair automatically without a code.
Step 4 — Confirm the Connection
Once successfully paired, your speaker will appear under Paired Devices with a status of Connected. You can now play music, watch videos, or use calls directly through the Bluetooth speaker.
