The most effective way to hide photos and videos on a Samsung phone is by using the built-in Private Album or Secure Folder, which provides secure, password-protected access to your media.
Method 1: Using the Private Album in the Gallery App
Samsung Galaxy devices with One UI 8.5 or later offer a Private Album within the Gallery app to secure media directly:
Open the Gallery app.
Tap the Menu button (three dots) at the bottom right and select Private album.
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your lock screen method (Pattern, PIN, or Fingerprint).
To hide photos or videos, go to your Gallery, select the media, tap More Move to private album, and confirm by tapping Move
