This is a short video on how to change the Metro User Interface background, as well as the lock picture in Windows 8. It is very simple to do, and offeres a few customization options. Unfortunately at this time it does not support custom images as the background, but I am sure that soon some programs will be able to do it or it will be a feature added in to a later service pack.
