This video will show you how to find out what version of Ubuntu you have on your computer.
It can be very important nowadays to find your Ubuntu version, because there are so many releases out now. Luckily, finding the operating system version is very simple.
To find it, just go to the gear icon in the right hand corner, and choose the "About this Computer" option. This basically gives you your Ubuntu system properties.
In my case, it says that I have 16.04 LTS. LTS stands for Ubuntu Long Term Support, and just means that updates will be maintained for a longer period of time, and it can be expected to be more stable.
This method will work for any current and previous installations of Ubuntu with the Unity interface.
