This is a video showing the loading time of Windows 8, which is much faster than Windows 7. This test was done in a virtual machine, where it was given 3 GB of ram, 2 processor cores, and the virtual hard drive was put on a 32 GB MSata (Samsung PM830). This loaded much faster then the Windows 7 x64 that is on the same machine, which is a Dell Inspiron 17R Special Edition. If anyone is really interested I can install Windows 7 onto the same drive and do a boot test with that.
