In this DROPS video we show you how to cast off with knit, using 2 strands. The use of 2 strands gives a sturdier cast off edge. This method is called: Cast off in knitting.

THE VIDEO SHOWS:
Pull out the strand from the middle of the ball and lay it together with the working strand = 2 strands, both of which are used when casting off.
Cast off with knit as follows: Knit 1, * knit 1, on the left needle pass the back stitch over the front stitch = 1 stitch cast off *, repeat from *-* until the last stitch is cast off.
