In this DROPS video we show you how to increase 2 stitches in 3 stitches to create a small flower. This increase can be used individually or with several increases above each other to produce a line of flowers; great for raglan for example.

BEFORE STARTING THE VIDEO:
Work as far as the 3 stitches you are going to increase in.

THE VIDEO SHOWS:
In the 3 stitches, work as follows: * Knit 3 together without slipping them off the left needle, make 1 yarn over *, work from *-* 1 more time, finish by knitting the 3 stitches together again (3 stitches are now 5 stitches). Slip the 3 together-knitted stitches off the left needle = 2 increased stitches. The stitches and yarn overs are worked in stocking stitch on the next row, making sure the yarn overs are not twisted. If you want to work the increases above each other, increase in the 3 middle stitches of these 5 stitches.
