How To Build A Rolling 3D Printer Cabinet Using IKEA Parts! @EmbraceMaking

In this video I show you how to build a modern and functional rolling 3D printer cabinet using common parts from IKEA. You can customize this cabinet to fit any size 3D printer and it features interior lighting, a pull out shelf for easy access to your printer, a table top to work on, extra storage in the bottom for tools and a temperature and humidity sensor. As an added bonus, this cabinet can act as a heated enclosure!

IKEA parts used in this build include:
- ASKERSUND cover panels

- UTRUSTA 153 degree hinges

$ANET A8 Plus Adjustable Z End Stop In this video I will show you how to upgrade your ANET A8 Plus 3D printer with an adjustable z end stop. The advantage to using an adjustable z end stop is the ease of adjusting your z offset very quickly and accurately for different filaments, or if your z height position slowly creeps over time. By turning the adjustment knob slightly one way or the other, you can change your offset fractions of a millimeter at a time. The limit switch bracket that comes with the ANET A8 is fixed and once you loosen the bolts holding it, you lose your z0 reference position and making fine adjustments is incredibly frustrating. This will change all of that and make your life so much easier. Once installed, you will not have to re-level your print bed since you have not touched your bed level, or anything of that sort. Simply move the print head to the middle of the printer and use the classic paper gauge and home your z axis a few times while making adjustments to the thumb screw to dial back in your perfect z height. Your original limit switch is re-used along with the two small screws that hold it to the metal bracket.
