In this video I show how you to build a cheap 3D printer filament dry box using an air tight container from Walmart, some 4mm PTFE tubing, and some 3D printed parts. This dry box also acts as a filament spool rack to be used alongside your printer to feed the filament to the extruder and hold multiple spools of material.
Filament dry boxes are very effective and preventing your filament from absorbing moisture so that your prints are very consistent each time you use your printer. You can store your filament in the dry box for extended periods of time and not have to worry about it. As shown in the video, you can also add a temperature and humidity sensor to the side of your dry box to monitor the humidity levels inside your dry box. Link to sensor here:

Additionally, in this video I show you several 3d printed parts that I would like to share with you for creating a low resistance filament guide. This keeps your filament from getting tangled and caught on anything once it leaves the dry box.
