In this video we are going to be exploring the functions of xTool's newest product releases, the Air Purifier 2 (AP2) and the Inline Fan 2 (IF2). I will show you what is included, how to set them up, and possible use cases, along with testing of the AP2 with various materials in the F1 Ultra. Both of these xTool products are intended to tackle the problem of smoke and fume filtration and evacuation from your laser cutting and engraving work space.

I truly could not believe how effective the AP2 was at filtering out the odors from wood, acrylic, and leather. Traditionally these have been known to create lots of smoke, or pungent odors that in some cases can also be dangerous to your health. Best of all, both the AP2 and IF2 can be controlled directly from xTool Creative Space over a bluetooth connection to the newer xTool machines such as the F1 Ultra, S1, and P2S.
The xTool Air Purifier 2 boasts over 99% filtration efficiency and will be a game changer for those of you who cannot exhaust your fumes outdoors. It made cutting and engraving acrylic in my small shop completely doable now. Plus, each of the filter layers can be individually purchased and replaced when xTool Creative Space software tells you that it has reached end of life.

I have made adapters available that fit both the AP2 and IF2 and allow you to fit a common 4" duct hose. 4" duct hose is very common and can be inexpensively found in very long lengths compared to the xTool flexible hose that is included with the AP2 / IF2 or machines such as the F1 ULTRA.

Additionally, shown in this video is my latest F1 to F1 ULTRA fixture adapter. It now allows you to place an F1 sized fixture in the center but also panelize those fixtures in a 2x2 grid to increase efficiency with batch production! You can find that here:
