In this video I will take you in depth into getting started with the Snapmaker A250T! I will take you right from the unboxing all the way through the general machine assembly and right into your first 3D prints with the 3D printing tool head. Future videos will cover the CNC and laser tool heads since this is a 3 in 1 machine.
Snapmaker sent me the A250T along with their enclosure to test and right out of the box it is obvious this is a very nice machine. Lots of thought went into most details of the equipment and the frame and motion system is very rigid to accommodate the stresses of the CNC machine tool head. However, in this video I will only be covering the 3D printing module to keep the video to a reasonable length.
I will show you how to setup your first job for 3D printing with both the hardware and getting started with the Luban slicer. We will connect the Luban slicer to our machine over WiFi and transfer our gcode files to the printer.
In addition to this setup guide and review, I have designed and made available two new modifications. The first is a dual fan duct to improve the effectiveness of the original (small) part cooling fan. The second upgrade is the necessary adapters to fit a larger and more powerful 4010 radial fan for improved part cooling.
