In this video we will be upgrading the Creality Ender 3 MAX to make more efficient use of its large build volume. You can easily cut print times in half and this is a massive time saver when making use of the larger build volume.
To do this we will be installing the Bondtech LGX Lite extruder in combination with the Slice Engineering Mosquito Magnum hot end. In a previous video, I benchmarked this hot end on a Creality Ender 7 and had great results. If you want to see that video go here:

Additionally, we will also be installing the CR touch which is the same process as a BL touch so it doesn't matter which one you choose. The large build plate on the Ender 3 Max can be more prone to variations in the surface flatness than smaller build plates so this is a great tool to make your first layers go down smooth.
I will walk you through the installation and all extra considerations for the new equipment. This includes changing the esteps of your firmware, along with running a PID autotune, and making adjustments for the new nozzle offset. To make this process as easy as possible so you do not need to build custom firmware, I swapped to a cartridge style thermistor whose resistance profile is very close to that of the Creality bead style thermistor.
