In todays video, We are firing up the Slow n Sear Kettle to BBQ a Texas Style Brisket. We used Hickory wood chunks and Kingsford charcoal to maintain a cooking temperature between 250 and 300°. We seasoned the Brisket with youngbucks Brisket Rub. Our Brisket was a hyplains Brisket from Sox Brothers Beef Company that took around 8 hours to cook. We smoked the brisket until we reached above 150° internal, and then we wrapped it and continued cooking the Brisket until we reached 200° internal. After we finished cooking the Brisket, it rested in the oven on the lowest temperature setting for 2 hours.
