How Strong Is Movie Sonic ?

After binging the Sonic trilogy just for this video, today I wanted to go ahead and talk about just how strong this blue hedgehog really is. Because out of any of the verses to become live action, you would NOT expect this little hedgehog to be one of the strongest adaptations. Even just by the first movie this dude is already soloing most of the avengers and by the time of Sonic 3, it’s safe to say these guys are completely different on their own. So today I’m going to do my best in helping you understand just how cracked this blur furry is. In this video as well I’ll be mentioning other characters like Eggman, Knuckles, and Shadow, or anyone relevant when it comes to scaling Sonic. The first thing I’ll break down is his speed, as that’s kinda what he’s known for. In Sonic 1, We know that he’s capable of running through Greenhills in less than 2 seconds. We don’t know specifically how big this island is, but basing it off of islands we have in our world, we can assert that Sonic would’ve had to be moving at over Mach 177. If you assume that Greenhills is a much bigger island, maybe comparable to Greenland, we can say his speed reaches well over Mach 8,740, or 6,705,932 miles per hour. For reference Sonic would be moving at over 1% the speed of light. This is fairly consistent at least with Sonic’s early showings as we see him crossing from the middle of Montana, all the way to the Pacific Ocean. The other time of course is within Sonic 3, where we see Sonic punching Shadow to the moon within seconds, and traveling in space at super speeds, blitzing laser beams while performing combo moves. So Base Sonic usually stays in that Relativistic tier, with his full speed reaching well beyond Massively Faster Than Light. Which is kinda crazy considering Knuckles in his first interaction embarrassed Sonic, and then we see this same Knuckles get embarrassed by Shadow with his limiters on. Sonic by Sonic 3 is atleast able to fight Shadow much better than Knuckles and can sometimes clash with him, but it’s clear that Shadow even while suppressed is by far faster than any of them. Even with his super form Sonic isn’t even fully blitzing him, and as we know this power makes Sonic both exponentially stronger and faster. Super Shadow and Sonic are well beyond the feats I mentioned but we don’t have enough info to say by how much. And so with that, we can now speak on Sonic’s Strength and Durability. Now Sonic’s AP and Durability should correlate with one another based on the fact that Sonic is able to withstand the energy he produces, whenever he’s accelerating at high speeds. We know he caused a power black out across the Pacific Northwest . Based on the shockwave he made, we know that he would’ve had to both generate and withstand 35.61 Megatons. For reference this is enough energy to wipe out cities, and this is Sonic just testing out where he’s at. We’ve seen as well with just 1 fucking quill from this dude, YES 1 Quill. Eggman somehow caused this explosion. Do you understand just how ridiculous this is? Based on the size of the shockwave and the size of the planet he’s on, this means each quill of Sonic is at least producing 31 gigatons of energy. 31 GIGATONS. This is enough energy to wipe out islands, THIS QUILL SOLOS JJK. But seriously, imagine if Sonic was actually running at full power, how much energy would he be generating? Well based on the quill thing we just talked about and how many quills a hedgehog usually has (which is 7,000). We can really sit here and say Sonic is producing enough energy to level countries (218 Teratons of TNT) It’s really funny to think about how this blue hedgehog while running, is taking more energy than what Thor had to withstand in infinity war😭 and unlike him he isn’t dying right after withstanding this. Now if I’m being honest, I can’t really see Base Sonic being higher than this, so now we can get into where Super Sonic would be at. Super Sonic and Shadow then go on to hold this beam out for a good minute before getting overpowered. The same beam that instantly chopped a piece of the moon and that was going to wipe out earth. This would give Super Sonic Planet Busting attack potency and durability with Base Shadow at least having energy relative to these levels, and of course in his super form he just upscales from anything in the film as he never felt the need to take off his limiters until the very end. It’s safe to say that the live action hedgehog is far beyond where people thought he’d be at, and it seems based on the post credits that there’s still a lot more to show off for this universe.
