How many pull-ups can I do? After I post an insane pullup variation, I get a lot of people asking me that question!

I hadn't tested that in awhile (and I haven't trained pull-ups for high reps in a long time) but I had always guessed around 20. So I decided to test that to see what the answer was. I weigh about 175 lbs right now, for reference.

Turns out I was close with 21 (that last rep was SLOW).

I wanted to test with full-range pull-ups... coming all the way down arms fully extended at the bottom. Not pausing but not bouncing at the bottom or short of the bottom, and coming up a minimum of the chin over the bar, but higher if I could.

I did notice I have small tendency to hitch just a little bit on the way up when trying to pull up with speed and power, so these aren't "perfect" pull-ups but I think the form is pretty good.
