Flying into Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) on a convective day is not something to be taken lightly.
ATC had helped vector me around the thick stuff, but even this portion was more built up than expected.

The additional situational awareness I get from flying with SiriusXM Aviation data is the only reason I’m confident to strategically maneuver around storms like this.

I've been using the service since way before they sponsored the channel, and I appreciate the ongoing support to keep content creation sustainable!

I also need to shout out long time Flight Chops supporter ForeFlight, regardless of what I'm flying, my iPad comes with me for the consistent flight planning and inflight data management interface.

This clip is from an IFR cross country flight on the way to a training camp before the IAC U.S. National aerobatic championships.
