Even world class sprinters land this way too…
…unless they are accelerating, which will typically happen at the beginning of the race.
Now, even though it may not be possible to land under your center of mass, it may still be beneficial to work on ways to land as close as possible to your center of mass as a sprinter.
This is because doing so may allow for quicker transitions through the running cycle…which can ultimately contribute to running faster.
