A homeowner from Walsall, West Midlands, UK, says he faces losing the £400,000 family home he built after it was found to be just 0.5 metres wider than approved plans.
Idnan Choudhry, 31, was granted planning permission for a replacement home but later became embroiled in a four-year dispute with Walsall Council.
The authority has twice refused retrospective planning applications, citing concerns including its size, appearance and impact on neighbours.
Choudhry says he has spent thousands trying to resolve the issue and is continuing to fight to save the property.
