An Afghan migrant who vaped while steering an overcrowded Channel crossing boat has been jailed for two years. Basir Ramatullah admitted endangering lives at sea after piloting a small boat carrying migrants to the UK. Home Office footage shows him vaping at the helm as some passengers made the crossing without lifejackets.
