Why hello everyone!! This may have taken a waaayy longer than 3 weeks, ahehe. ;)
I think it was worth the wait though, and despite the long delay, it WAS the most successful MEP I've hosted. 11/12 people delivered their parts on time so I can't complain too much. And you 11 people did an OUTSTANDING JOB!!! THANK YOU so much for your participation and dedication!! I really appreciated it xD
BIG SHOUT OUT to FortisFaith for reaching out and being so willing to double up on parts. I couldn't have done it with out you. *literally* If it wasn't for her (and Funtasicvids) this MEP would probably be sitting idle till the end of my school semester.
Oh and speaking of THAT, yeah thats where I've been this whole time; I've been going INSANE this past month since starting back to college. My life has taken a complete 180 degree turn from being consumed with boredom all the time, to being overwhelmed 24/7 with assignments/deadlines - night and day, even in my dreams/nightmares; I can't escape -all I do is eat, sleep, and breath Animation!! Its wonderful and stressful at the same time, aha! Granted, I'd rather be busy than bored so thats positive.
With that said, you probably can tell I've been too busy to even tell you I'm "too busy"... SO, this is to OFFICIALLY announce that I am on a *SEMI-HIATUS* till the end of the semester. This is the first time in 6 years I've had to say those words, but I am dead serious about pursuing Animation and it requires 110% of my devotion. In fact I didn't even dare open my editor at all those first 3 weeks cause I was so stressed. (I finally caved in one night though because I was so desperate to vent.....then I regretted it the next day.)
I LOVE my school, the professors, and simply learning and being in a Christian environment in my major is such a rarity too. I've been working in Maya 3D software, animating 2D principles digitally in TVPaint, and drawing a ton and learning about design of course on old fashion paper. However - as odd as this is gonna sound - drawing is not one of strong points, at all. I love drawing I just hate my drawing if that makes sense. I'm more technical than artistically gifted on the broad scheme of the animation field, but I got a lot of heart ache in drawing till I get where I want to be. Its soooo discouraging and makes me feel so inferior though. *shakes head*
Anywho, where was I? Oh the Hiatus: Yep, I'll still be around but I certainly won't be editing/uploading much of anything for awhile. (But I'll comeback! I love video editing too much ;)
Oh, and several people have commented on my usual RTTE highlight video I've been doing.....um, yeah I intend on doing it for this latest 5th season someday but it won't be anytime soon I'm afraid. It took me 3 weeks just to watch it (I think I finally finished it last weekend? IDK) I have some thoughts on it but I won't digress here. IT was good but not better like how the previous 4 built up. I still need a song to edit to it as well but can't find one that sparks....
Okay, thats all I can say for now, gotta go back to animating, drawing, working in Maya, all that jazz. Sorry if this description sounded scattered; I AM scattered these days. *sighs*
PS: What in Thors name has YT been doing with its layout since I've been AWOL?? It SUCKS....
