Wright Mountain via Inspiration Point follows the Blue Ridge spine with constant views of the San Gabriel high peaks and includes a stretch on the PCT. This route crosses both Angeles National Forest and San Bernardino National Forest, making it one of the few hikes in the area to hit both. The ridge stays exposed most of the way, so start early in summer and bring sun protection. No permits required, but parking at Inspiration Point fills quickly on weekends. The trail is straightforward navigation once you're on the ridge, with the main challenge being the elevation gain and exposure.
