In this video, we look at all the wrestling techniques from The Flower of Battle (Fior di Battaglia), a medieval martial arts manual by the legendary Italian weapons-master Fiore dei Liberi. Fiore's work is one of the oldest surviving treatises on combat, and in this video, we focus specifically on the grappling and wrestling section.
Fiore's work is often used in Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) and these are our interpretations of how these techniques were performed.
