Most recreational skiers who skate land on their inside edges when they skate on their cross country skis. An edged ski is very hard to balance on so these skiers end up only gliding on their skis for a short distance. Instead you need to put down a flat ski when you glide and I have created a "flat ski progression" to help skiers learn to glide on a flat ski. Thanks to our sponsor Auclair Gloves for their help with this video. If you would like to help sponsor a video or join our on line xc ski school contact me at : k2nicol@gmail.com
