Travel writers Keith and Heather Nicol recently visited Conne River in the Coast of Bays area of Southern Newfoundland. We were taken with the Conne River Powwow which we fully recommend. We liked the colourful costumes and there were dancers and drummers from various provinces performing. Also nearby is an interesting "medicine" trail and be sure to visit the Mi'kmaq Discovery Centre to learn more about this area.
