I raise a screaming face from a silicon bronze sheet in this video using repousse techniques. I begin by hot raising a bulge into a piece of 18 bronze. This bulge is then shaped over stakes and with various punches to chive the facial features. A pitch backer is then melted to achieve the finer details. This is the first step in the creation of a hood ornament. The next video will focus mainly on the hair.
