Some humans want hall passes to smooch people that they’ve seen
Like sports stars, prime ministers and even kings or queens
Reality show personalities, musicians, stars of stage and screen
Me, I want a hall pass for the monsters of Halloween
Dracula comes to my mind as someone I’d like to spoon
I’d like to brush up against a werewolf under the light of a full moon
I’d like my breath taken away by the Creature from the Black Lagoon
I want the mummy to unwrap me on an Egyptian sand dune
Some people might call most of my choices out of the ordinary
But I’m one of those people attracted to what they find scary
But I’m not a real big sicko who likes my conquests dead and buried (yuck)
Supernatural or Reanimated is a must, they can’t be just stationary
Some people want hall passes to smooch people with permission
Like real estate moguls, philanthropists, or private practice physicians
Like the people secretly ruling the world making all the big decisions
Hosts and hostesses of cocktail bars and sleight of hand magicians
With Frankenstein’s monster I think I could find a spark
I’d like to meet the Phantom some time when the opera house is dark
the Headless Horseman can take me on a carriage ride through the park
"Dr Jekyll or Mr Hyde?" you ask, well there’s no question mark (I’ll take them both)
Some people might call most of my choices out of the ordinary
But I’m one of those people attracted to what they find scary
But I’m not a real big sicko who likes my conquests dead and buried (yuck)
Supernatural or Reanimated is a must, they can’t be just stationary
On All Hallows Eve people go out to trick or treat
Me, I go to the cemetery looking for monsters with which to cheat
Although, to be fair, I also find it very hard to resist
Any human being in need of an exorcist
(Have you got the devil in you?)
Some people might call most of my choices out of the ordinary
But I’m one of those people attracted to what they find scary
But I’m not a real big sicko who likes my conquests dead and buried (yuck)
Super natural or Reanimated is a must they can’t be just stationary
Any monster that is listening , this song means I want to see-um
They can meet me on Halloween behind the mausoleum
I’m looking forward to meeting you, I’m not gonna scree-um
So meet me behind the mausoleum
Meet me behind the mausoleum

PEQUEÑO MURCIÉLAGO
Original Words & Music by Lisa Jeanette
[Verse 1]
Oh my pequeño murciélago
The sun has set, weve got to fly
We’ll travel many miles tonight
Our wings translucent in the night
In the evening by and by
Oh my pequeño murciélago
We will fly the whole night through
The moon is high, the night is young
The sound of chirping on our tongues
I always love to fly with you
[Chorus]
You take me to the blue agave de agua caliente
We share a moonlit feast of nectar sweet
And when were full of sweet agave de agua caliente
We will return triumphant for tequila
[Verse 2]
Oh my pequeño murciélago
You whisper to me that its time
You caress me with your hands
Your wings enfold me like a band
In this cocoon, babe you are mine
oh my pequeño murciélago
The sun is rising all too soon
Once again we make our flight
Long before the sky is light
Under the cover of the moon
[Chorus]
You take me to the blue agave de agua caliente
We share a moonlit feast of nectar sweet
And when were full of sweet agave de agua caliente
We will return triumphant for tequila
[Outro]
Oh my pequeño murciélago
There will be no tequila when were gone
Tequila needs the moonlit night murciélago
The murciélago needs tequila to live on PEQUEÑO MURCIÉLAGO (Lisa Jeanette Cover Song)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/rBsCjvosn2c/mqdefault.jpg)
![Holy Roller
[Intro]
For many people, their vehicle is an extension of who they are
So if you’re into Jesus, I should know that when I look at your car
If you’re really into God, I don’t want to hear any excuses
Your car should reflect your faith, there should be no confusion
[Verse]
My car’s got stained glass windows with scenes from the life of the Lord
My top ten scriptures are taped onto my dashboard
Religious stickers on my bumper cover up all the free space
when I push down the horn, it plays Amazing Grace
[pre chorus]
My radio is tuned to religious stations
My seats convert into kneelers for adoration
I keep a shawl in the glove box for people who aren’t dressed modestly
If you ride with me, you’ll cover the parts that should only be shared privately
[Chorus]
But look, it’s not enough to just dress modestly
The crucifix you’re wearing is a good start, honestly
If you’re walking around, that’s the best you can do
But if you’re in a car, people can’t see you
So it’s important your car should resemble an emblem
As a tribute to the fella who was born in Bethlehem
[Verse]
My priest blesses the gas station where I buy the fuel in my tank
One headlight shines the word “God,” the other shines the word “Thank”
And from my rear-view mirror I’ve hung my rosary
I don’t use the mirror to check how I look, ’cause that would be vanity
[pre chorus]
My blinkers go right and left, but also up and down
The same ways souls go when they’re heaven- or hell-bound
I use the same brand of oil that’s used in the Pope mobile
My air freshener is incense, like you’d find in a thurible
[Chorus]
Look, it’s not enough to just dress modestly
The crucifix you’re wearing is a good start, honestly
If you’re walking around, that’s the best you can do
But if you’re in a car, people can’t see you
So it’s important your car should resemble an emblem
As a tribute to the fella who was born in Bethlehem
[Bridge]
There are people who respond, “Hey, that can’t be real”
When I tell them about what I’ve done to my automobile
I’m not offended, they’re not responding out of hate
They’re just not familiar with what someone who’s blessed will do for their faith
[Outro]
If you’re curious about Christianity and you see me driving around
Just give me a wave and I’ll be happy to slow down
If you’re curious about Christianity and you see me driving past
Just give me a wave and I’ll be happy to stop and chat

![Mood Lighting
You came home carrying another lamp
Wrapped like a newborn child
Brushed aluminum, Danish wood
Minimalist and mild
You said, “This one was recommended
By some expert for the mind”
I said, “Last month it was the amber-white bulb
That would fix you by design”
You arranged it near the sofa
Into the outlet went the plug
Then you sat there in the holy glow
Of your tiny private sun
[Chorus]
Oh, darling, sadness isn’t something
A better lamp can stop
You can’t buy peace of mind
Like rich folks buying yachts
You said that I don’t understand these things
And maybe that was true
But no lamp worth two thousand dollars
Should leave somebody blue
[Verse 2]
The apartment slowly filled with light ing
Chrome-necked and museum neat
One lamp “for focus,” one “for mornings”
One that helps you fall asleep
There were catalogues across the coffee table
Blondes in linen pants
Standing beside illuminated cubes
And aggressively tasteful plants
You circled items with a marker
Like a code that you could crack
I found receipts inside your handbag
Long enough to make me snap
[Chorus]
Oh, darling, sadness isn’t a symptom
Of bad interior design
No Norwegian architect alive
Can straighten out your mind
You stare into so many glowing screens
Like people searching for proof
While I cook pasta in the kitchen
And wish that I knew what to do
[Bridge]
One night during a thunderstorm
The power finally died
You lit a candle from the junk drawer
Then you laughed until you cried
You said, “Maybe I just wanted proof
That something could switch on”
Then we sat there in the darkness
Till nearly dawn
[Final Verse]
Now sometimes when the days grow short
You still browse some design site
But mostly we just leave the curtains open
And go for walks at night
There’s still one absurdly expensive lamp
Beside the bed upstairs
It doesn’t cure a single thing
But the room looks nice with it there
It doesn’t cure a single thing, baby
But the room looks nice with it there Mood Lighting](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/sCkdukstJLg/mqdefault.jpg)
