Man doesn't that Star Wars melody just send chills down your spine when you hear it?? I've been hinting at a Heather-Mock trailer and here she is!
The moment I saw this trailer I immediately thought: Heather! She is so rogue and hardcore in RTTE and is easily one of my utmost favorite characters. I was amazed how literal Jyn and her backstory matched up with her. That siren got kinda annoying editing with, so I added that VO so it might help distract you from it, plus the VO seemed to tie-in with Heather's underlying goals.
Seemed appropriate to upload it this weekend since the new Rogue One trailer was released this week. My favorite part was the very end with that millisecond glimpse of Darth Vader (Screams from the SW fandom I think were heard around the world, haha!) I had doubts about RO since George Lucas isn't a part of it anymore but this latest trailer gave me hope.
I actually finished it last Thursday but thought I better space out my uploads since I had just uploaded my IO vid at that time. I started a full time job this week so editing and uploads and well, everything has been cut down to the bare minimum since I don't have the time like I used to. And on top of that our internet was out all freakin week so I've fallen behind on even more stuff like: uploads, emails, comments, messages, ugh! But I gotta look on the bright side: at least I don't have homework! I have my weekends.....so I LIVE for the weekends now, lol!
Oh, and I saw Pete's Dragon yesterday and LOVED IT! It was so heartwarming and sweet, and Elliot is just a great giant green Toothless with fur, lol! I loved him and Pete and their relationship.....definitely been doing some work with that soundtrack, but its a surprise. ^_^

Ahh, I have to say, I am NOT disappointed in it. Granted there are some design choices on Toothless that are a little off Im just relieved he has so much expression and life. I am also now confident that Mason will make a convincing Hiccup, and overall everything looked very promising.
I understand people have mixed feelings on a LA adaption (I do as well), but I feel more happy and excited to get the chance to relieve the movie anew again after 15 years. Plus, the fact that we are getting the same director (Dean Deblois), same composer (John Powell) and also Gerald Butler is reprising Stoick, I think its going to be quite special and unique. It literally could not be in better hands. What more could we ask for?
Anywho, hope you enjoy this little piece I threw together today! Sorry if the audio/sound is off. I cant hear very well in one hear right now; hopefully will be better soon. There were soooo many options I could have chosen for music but this one I envisioned the clearest and went with it. I decided to keep it simple and compare shots since there wasnt really a whole lot to work with. Still quite fun.... I will never get tired of editing the Touch Scene 💞
