So, back on April 23, I got a PM from xFineNotes here asking for help in making HTTYD vids. I offered what I could and we continued to PM; sharing a familier passion for video games as well. After seeing his work I couldn't help but notice we shared a similar style in epic instrumentals and love for timing explosions sooo, I stepped out of my shadow again and offered the idea for a collab! When I first heard this song (Recommended by YT) I just knew THIS was the one for us!! Gah isn't it THRILLING? What winner by TSFH! The "For the Win" theme got me thinking mainly on ROB ep 14 with the Night Fury vs Whispering Death rivalry; so we tried to highlight it often. (=
FN eagerly finished his part first within days but I dragged mine on for over a week (Such a slow editor) Vegas later pulled a startling stunt that set me back several days. To this day I will never understand how that mystery started but to make a long story really short: I fixed it. After blowing off steam with a friend and playing a couple games I pulled myself together and pieced it back into place.
Other then that weird ordeal, I had the ultimate blast editing this! Going COMPLETELY random with the vid and hunting through all 20 eps of ROB and the movie looking for unique explosions was a fresh and exciting experience!
And one of these days I'll get a thumbnail that is satisfying.

How can I begin to describe such a creative young friend? Ever since I discovered your vids back in July of 2013, I knew there was something that set you and your wonderful works of art apart. I remember ONE of the first things that caught my eyes were your custom thumbnails. Remember? You were the first one, that I know of, in the HTTYD fandom that started those....and so generously shared with me/us. In time we got to grow and share together through our work to become such good friends. And Im ever so grateful we have ;) Ive learned so much from you and admire them greatly! Spending time creatively arranging things and taking pride in every last detail, and believe me it shines....showing far more than any minor flaws YOU can only see in your vids. (Mark of every great artist: never satisfied with their work ;) You also have such a wonderful, fun-loving personality on here too while interacting with friends/fans; one of the few around here that genuinely cares about your YT family here. Ill be honest, I had no idea it was your birthday till it was actually, your birthday on the 28th, ahe! But I wanted to do something for you, and I really didnt think you and Betty would mind sharing a gift since your both such good friends. *winks* Well, what can I say for you friend? YOUR AND ARTIST!! I admire artist, and I know I havent come right out and said it in comments personally, but I think your draw beautifully and I really do enjoy your work. Your vids are so amazing too! I REALLY admire, practically drool, over how you do your text especially with the different fonts in them. So creative with all those details! I love it! About this vid:
Ive clearly spent waaay too much time on this gift. This vid is primarily focused on Hiccup and Toothless but I couldnt resist including some Stalka and then Hiccstrid for the final verse. Believe it or not, I was actually through editing this the day BEFORE your B-day Betty, but its taken me 3 of these past 4 days to add the final touches....special for you two because you and Aversi are so detailed. *winks* Including, the coloring(s), overlays/textures, intro/ending, and then text/fonts. (The later I have zero patience in doing). I practically have my own post-production process for my own vids, lol!
Oh and speaking of effects, notice something Betty? *nudges* I finally got em! Yep, you got it, - its those super cool transitions I rave over in yours and other peoples vids. xD YES YES, look at the smooth blur on the clips/text!! They were easy to get too, only took me one night and they work beautifully. Its like a plethora of various additive dissolves, zooms, and colorings; I ♥ it, so I put a heavy dose of all those in here for ya, ahehe. YT makes it look rather dark though, on my PC the quality and colors are much more crisp. *shrugs*
Oh, and I have no idea where that smudge in the intro on, Give ME Your Hand came from; it was FINE in the editor! Whatever Vegas...you just have to make your mark. (Hiccup pun alert!)
