What can I say you three? Its your birthdays!! Or pretty close...sorta, okay I’m late. 1 day late for you Fanny, 2 days late for you Heir, and 15 days for you ToothlessMI. *ouch* You get my meaning though, and I wanted you each to know, again, how special you are and how much you mean to me – both in editing and personally as friends!
You Fan, have been my mentor since day one for me back in 2011. (When I was consumed with envy with your editing amvs, ha!) Yet after my first few vids, you spoke to me and we got to know each other much closer. (And yeah, I just melted that first day you commented on one of my vids! ;) Thanks to you, I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today, so thank you so much FV2!! *hugs*
To you Toothless, (My gosh, another Night Fuy!) you have been a faithful friend and one to whom anyone could count on! Your vids gorgeous to behold with your magic touch on Vegas; each detail catches my eyes! You never forget OUR birthdays each year too and I thank you for that too my friend! *hugs*
Finally to you Humble Heir, (Ahuh, gentlemen last, lol!) You sent me that first PM Jan 20th and from then on its been an ongoing conversations (with a few spaces in time here and there....and now. ;) full of wonder and plenty of laughs too! (Oooh, cant forget the humor now can we?) You have to be one the funniest guys I know, hehe! I thank you for making me laugh and smile like that; for our talks and vids! They’ve been a blessings! *hugs*

Now about this vid: Its another animash! Or more specifically, a DreamWorks animash. Guess I'm in the mashing mood. Made this pretty darn quick too if I do say so myself. I started it on the 17th but made the majority of it this past week. Ever since I watched Fan's HTTYD vid with this score I've been wanting to do something with it. Its so beautiful!

Editing this was pretty straightforward. Just an array of DWs movies arranged together. (I'm sure your happy to see a vid without Frozen this time eh FV2? ;) Since you taught me about the Chroma Keyer I tried using a lot of it. Also, that VO 0:15 was for you too since I know Oogway's quote is one of your favs. And yes Heir, that verse at the end was for you! I recently heard that one (on my own B-day actually) and it spoke to me so I thought you would enjoy it too. (=
For the coloring, I'm trying to beef up my editor with some new color n text effects I found as well. What do you guys think?

How can I begin to describe such a creative young friend? Ever since I discovered your vids back in July of 2013, I knew there was something that set you and your wonderful works of art apart. I remember ONE of the first things that caught my eyes were your custom thumbnails. Remember? You were the first one, that I know of, in the HTTYD fandom that started those....and so generously shared with me/us. In time we got to grow and share together through our work to become such good friends. And Im ever so grateful we have ;) Ive learned so much from you and admire them greatly! Spending time creatively arranging things and taking pride in every last detail, and believe me it shines....showing far more than any minor flaws YOU can only see in your vids. Ill be honest, I had no idea it was your birthday till it was actually, your birthday on the 28th, ahe! YOUR AND ARTIST!! I admire artist, and I know I havent come right out and said it in comments personally, but I think your draw beautifully and I really do enjoy your work. About this vid:
Ive clearly spent waaay too much time on this gift. This vid is primarily focused on Hiccup and Toothless but I couldnt resist including some Stalka and then Hiccstrid for the final verse. Believe it or not, I was actually through editing this the day BEFORE your B-day Betty, but its taken me 3 of these past 4 days to add the final touches....special for you two because you and Aversi are so detailed. *winks* Including, the coloring(s), overlays/textures, intro/ending, and then text/fonts. (The later I have zero patience in doing). I practically have my own post-production process for my own vids, lol!
Oh and speaking of effects, notice something Betty? *nudges* I finally got em! Yep, you got it, - its those super cool transitions I rave over in yours and other peoples vids. xD YES YES, look at the smooth blur on the clips/text!! They were easy to get too, only took me one night and they work beautifully. Its like a plethora of various additive dissolves, zooms, and colorings; I ♥ it, so I put a heavy dose of all those in here for ya, ahehe. YT makes it look rather dark though, on my PC the quality and colors are much more crisp. *shrugs*
Oh, and I have no idea where that smudge in the intro on, Give ME Your Hand came from; it was FINE in the editor! Whatever Vegas...you just have to make your mark. (Hiccup pun alert!)

So while editing this one I came up with this CRAZY idea to see how much of all the HTTYD footage highlighting Hiccup and Toothless I could fit in 21 secs. Well, it came pretty close, but believe it or not, I got at least one clip from each one! Including the Movie naturally, Legend of the BoneKnapper (only scene showing Toothless there), Gift of The Night Fury, Book of Dragons, and Riders of Berk (1-20). Youll probably just have to take my word for it, but its all there. I paid very close attention; as you can see it plays quickly! Check it out I found a feather too, lol! (;
Oh and also I used the cookie cutter for the first time on the Touch scene briefly at 0:14.")
